Graduate Quantitative Trader
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Graduate Quantitative Trader located in Amsterdam. In this position, you will help implement, monitor, and optimize our trading algorithms and strategies. You will work closely with senior traders, researchers, and developers to identify market opportunities, test ideas using quantitative techniques, and translate research into robust production systems.
This role is designed for early-career candidates with strong technical fundamentals who want to develop into well-rounded quantitative traders in a fast-paced environment where results matter more than seniority.
Skill Set & Qualifications
- Outstanding data analysis and critical thinking skills, with an eye for detail
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and statistical modelling skills
- A PhD or Master's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics, or Engineering
- Outstanding coding skills in Python
- Excellent communication skills, including reporting and documentation
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under pressure
- Knowledge of financial markets is not required; a strong interest in the subject is
